LUCA PERONI
Nato a Vicenza nel 1963, vive e lavora a Montecchio Maggiore (VI) dove è titolare di un azienda che si occupa di soluzioni architettoniche e rivestimenti artistici per l’edilizia.
Porta avanti da tempo una propria personale ricerca, sempre però immediatamente riconoscibile, che spazia nei più diversi campi ed ambiti artistici. Sono del 2003 i primi approcci con l’arte figurativa e il suo incontro con il colore, elemento questo fondante di tutta la sua produzione, usato in maniera piena e quasi senza mediazione del tratto. Una forma di “espressionismo” ma con una visione del reale che sfugge continuamente da qualsiasi accademismo o modo.
La sua scelta più recente si rifà alla sua esperienza lavorativa, preferendo come “tramite” l’uso delle resine epossidiche e poliuretaniche, spesso mescolate a cementi e leganti, materiali che gli permettono di sfruttare appieno le peculiarità di qualsiasi tipo di superficie, dal legno al vetro, esaltandone, spesso in modo inaspettato, le textures, fermando momenti di luci od ombre conservati, come appena visti, in un amalgama che restituisce i più fini dettagli che altrimenti sfuggirebbero ad un osservazione superficiale.
Sapendo egli cosi ben padroneggiare e gestire con efficacia queste complesse tecniche di esecuzione, descrivere, seppur sommariamente, il suo operato diviene cosa impervia, o comunque riduttiva rispetto a una produzione in cui pochi campi espressivi sono stati tralasciati. Meritano, però, di essere citate alcune sue serie: le “esplosioni”, opere totalmente informali costruite su fondo ligneo e costituite da impasti di resine vivacemente colorati e mescolati tra di loro. Il loro impatto visivo è di assoluta rilevanza e la lettura, ricca di infinite sfumature, rimanda all’interpretare di certo astrattismo, ma la cui tridimensionalità, data dalla parziale trasparenza del mezzo “pittorico”, libera lo spettatore dalla superficie banalmente dipinta e gli permette di spaziare nel profondo dell’opera catturandone il volere e la casualità. Particolarmente affascinanti sono le serie su fondo nero, quasi opere intimistiche, che si possono studiare per ore senza però comprenderne appieno la complessità, ma anche le serie dette “Esplosioni cromatiche” in cui l’esuberanza del creare sembra non avere limiti con gli impasti resinosi che sembrano voler fuoriuscire dalla superficie, come se il colore imprigionato non potesse essere semplicemente contenuto all’interno dell’opera, ma dovesse “aggredire” e sfuggirne per impregnare l’aria stessa.

“Immaginate tanti frammenti dei vetri più pregiati, dai colori più sgargianti e intensi, dalle fantasie più svariate e immaginate di vederli galleggiare immobili, eterei e leggeri.” Così è l’universo creativo di Luca Peroni, in cui ogni opera rappresenta una ricerca e, nello stesso tempo, una sfida vinta contro l’abituale concezione dell’arte

Born in Vicenza in 1963, he lives and works in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) where he owns a company that deals with architectural media and artistic coatings for the construction industry.
He has long been pursuing his own personal search, yet immediately recognizable, ranging from the most diverse fields and artistic environments. In 2003, the first approaches to figurative art and his encounter with the color, the founding element of all of his production, used in full style and almost without mediation of the stroke. A kind of “Impressionism” but with a vision of reality that continually escapes from any academic or mannerism.
His most recent choice relies on his work experience, preferring the use of epoxy and polyurethane resins, often mixed with cements and binders, materials that allow him to fully exploit the peculiarities of any type of surface, from wood To the glass, exalting, often unexpectedly, the textures, impressing moments of lights or shadows preserved, as just seen, in an mix that returns the finer details that would otherwise escape to a superficial observation.
He knows how to master and effectively manage these complex playing techniques, describe, even summarily, his work becomes a difficult thing or otherwise reductive compared to a production in which a few expressive fields have been omitted. However, some of his series deserve to be mentioned: the “explosions”, totally informal works built on a wooden background and consisting of mixes of brightly colored resins mixed together. Their visual impact is of great significance and its reading, full of infinite shades, remind the interpretation of certain abstract art but its three-dimensionality, given by the partial transparency of the medium (pictorial medium), relive the viewer from the vision of the prosaic painted surface and allows him to range deep in the work by capturing the will and randomness. Particularly fascinating are the series on a black background, almost “intimist works”, that you can study for hours without fully understanding the complexity, but also the series of “Chromatic Explosions” where the exuberance of creation seems to have no limits, with the resinous mixtures that seem to come out from the surface, as if the imprisoned color could not simply included inside the work but it should “attack” and escape to impregnate the air.
